While the dew is still on the roses

God what a beastly garden
With ravening followers strewn
There is no pathway through it
All mankind they would prune

And in their bracken garden
They'd bring all men to die,
To give them grace beyond it
Is their eternal lie

Distract with grain and vine
A fig to you must tend
Butt as there is no pathway
He ll get you in the end

Another saw the garden
Who loved the thinking mind
The path that leads beyond it
Yet leaves it not behind

Gold was not the answer
Nor fantasy by and by
Earth was not created
By magicians in the sky

The magic nature's given
A chance for you and I
To breath and see the sunlight
A while before we die

O, cease to heed the glamour
That blinds your foolish eyes
The heavens truly glitter
With nature's starry skies

The way of things would harm less
Our lives would not betray
To live and love what's here now
Peace each and every day

The Real has no magician
Who'll fix right what you wrong
So be good to your neighbor
Then ending say so long
