Intoxicating Sober

Always be peaceful,
Totally there!
The Great I AM!
Too feel each
Tick in time
Lifting your head
To the Sky! before return to earth
Sober be and see the way.

How?

With poetry, virtue, life!
But get sober.

And if you fall
asleep on a golden porch
in the green grass
on whatever pallet
dull dun darkness developing,

ask a clock
ask a bird
ask a star
ask a wind

ask everything that flys
ask everything gamey

ask everywhere the Bon Ton Roule!

ask song
ask dance
