Two paths diverged by the forrest green
I would not travel up the two
But my companion's eye had seen
Down my path bent bushes lean
A dense wood with a darker hue
So down the dexter dale he strode
Where grassy goodness filled the air
Past bright meadows on his taken road
He wore a path to his final ode
A glade where all will fair
So up the sinister path I went
Sand, dust, mud, rock, cold, heat, mist, dark
Rose thorns tearing at the flesh God sent
Dead branches crosses inward, bent
The path many trode has left its mark
Mayhap we'll be telling, He and I
Some unknown country by and by
Though our pathways one time diverged
Returned to one path, one way urged
At the end, side by side, we lie
