Brautigan was driving a HMMWV
through the Galilee.
A hitch-hiker named Yeshua
hopped aboard trailing behind
him a flock of lambs
who'd been eating
pieces of him.
"What are you
heading?" asked
Brautigan, as Yeshua
head through the window
refenestrated the front
seat.
"Don't Panic",
soothed Yeshua,
"they've just lost their head.
Let's go anywhere,
anywhere in the galaxy."
"I'll follow you
but only to the
ends of the earth!"
shouted Brautigan.
Yeshua replied,
"I sing, 'Limitless undying Love'
and dance, across the stars,
but fleecing flock my path cross
& nothing's gonna change their world
should their cabalry catch me at Skully's Place
I'll be late."
