God is not dead
yet
he lingers on
still
on extreme life support
in a painful persistent
vegetative state.
Why, why
no simple humanity
remains in the church‽
No one with bravery
No one who steps forward
No one who finally pulls the plug
while some small semblance of
dignity
still remains to god
before all fades away to nothing
only leaving
shame and disgust
at the pile of filth
where it all ends
