ἀπόκρυφα :: Founding Faðer's Stories :: George Washington

United States of America
George Washington (February 22, 1732)

When George's father asked George about who chopped down the cherry tree,

George replied, "I can not tell a lie, I did it."

NOTE :: While all these apocryphal stories are obviously not true perhaps they speak to the character of the various founding fathers & their famiglia.
