ἀπόκρυφα :: Founding Faðer's Stories :: Carolus Magnus

France
Carolus Magnus (747)

When Charles' father asked Charles about who chopped off their gallic rooster's head,

Charles (who was frankly rather German at the time) replied, "I can not germinate a lie, I'm frankly proud".

Whether germane or galling, his famiglia has been ever since.

NOTE :: While all these apocryphal stories are obviously not true perhaps they speak to the character of the various founding fathers & their famiglia.
