Psychopaths reward
If it seems that your boss is a psychopath, well maybe there's a reason for that:
"… if you have psychopathic tendencies and are born to a poor family you’re likely to go to prison. If you have psychopathic tendencies and are born to a rich family you’re likely to go to business school."- George Monbiot The Self-Attribution Fallacy

Good bye Irene
Irene good bye Irene good bye
Good bye Irene Good bye Irene
I'll see you in my dreams
Last Friday night, she blew into town,
stormy girl would not settle down,
Now me and Irene have parted,
I'll have to clean up G-Vegas round town
Some time she blew through the country,
Some time she blew through the town
Some time she took to the notion
Morpheus take up the river and drown
I love Irene, Devil knows why,
I'll love her till her winds blow dry
But if Irene should come back round,
I'd break down on my knees and cry
Stop blowin', stop winds throwin'
Stop screamin', threw the night
Go settle down on a mountain side
Leave us by our homeside bright
Irene good bye Irene good bye
Good bye Irene Good bye Irene
I'll see you in my dreams

When the credit breaks
If they keep on fightin', credit's goin' to break,
If they keep on fightin', credit's goin' to break,
When the credit breaks the last jobs will go away
Mean politicians taught me to weep and moan,
Mean politicians taught me to weep and moan,
Got what it takes to kick a workin' man from his home,
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well.
Don't they make you feel mad
When you're tryin' to find your way home,
You don't know which way they go?
If you're goin' to DC
There's no good work they do,
If you don't know about Mexico.
Resolve won't help you, tryin' won't do you no good,
Now, workin' won't help you once the jobs are gone for good,
When the credit breaks, you and mama got to move.
All last month they screwed up the credit and moaned,
All last month they screwed up the credit and moaned,
Thinkin' about my baby and my foreclosed home.
Going, going to Mexico... Going to China... Sorry but I can't take you...
Ratein's down... credit down now... going down....
If they keep on fightin', credit's goin' to break,
When the credit breaks the last jobs will go away

Dominic One
One is the onlyiest number that at first you'll do
Two, you'll be terrible badder than one
It's the baddest number after number one
Know is the gladdest experience as each day is new
Your life, it's the experience that you daily do
But one is the onlyiest number at the start you do
One is the onlyiest number, worse is two
It'll be so good someday when she comes to stay
Then you can spend some time making rhymes of yesterday
One is the onlyiest, number one is first time the number
One is the only first number that you'll ever do
One is the onlyiest, number one is first time the number
One is the only first number that you'll ever do
It'll be so good someday when she comes to stay

It Gets Better
It Gets Better
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at those fools (though, I can complain)
Authority figures weren't cool (no, I won't complain)
They were holding me down (oh Oh)
Tried to turn me around (oh Oh)
Filling me up with their rules (Oooh)
I've got to admit it's getting better (better)
It's a little better all the time (can't get no verse)
I have to admit it's getting better (better)
It's getting better
Since I don't mind
I used to be an angry young man
Was hiding my head in the sand
Supporters gave me the word, I finally heard
Out, Doing the best that I can! w00t!
I've got to admit it's getting better (bitter)
It's a little better all the time (it can't get no worse)
I have to admit it's getting better (better)
It's getting better
Since I made up my mind
Getting so much better all the time!
It's getting better all the time
Bitter, badder, better.
It's getting better all the time
Bitter, batter, better.
They used to be cruel to myself
Beat me and kept me apart from the ones that I loved
Man was so mean but the changes I've seen
Helps me doing the best that I can (ooh)
I admit it's getting better
A little better all the time (it can't get no worse)
Yes, I admit it's getting better, it's getting better

I just don't understand people who are against gay marriage‽
Why would anyone want their marriage to be
I sure hope my marriage is always gay!
Why would anyone want their marriage to be
depressed, discouraged, sad, unhappy, upset, and worriedinstead of being
alert, animate, animated, blithe, blithesome, bouncy, brash, carefree, cheerful, cheery, chipper, chirpy, confident, convivial, devil-may-care, festive, forward, frivolous, frolicsome, fun-loving, gamesome, glad, gleeful, hilarious, insouciant, jocund, jolly, jovial, joyful, joyous, keen, lighthearted, lively, merry, mirthful, playful, pleasure-seeking, presuming, pushy, rollicking, self-assertive, sparkling, spirited, sportive, sprightly, sunny, vivacious, wild, and zippy‽

I wonder since the commercial development will only occur on Thursday nights, what will go on the other days of the week‽

To have and to hold till death does ðe part
Haves argue amongst themselves over the best method of preserving what they have stolen from have-nots and stealing whatever little remains to them; however, in the end they always manage to do it anyway.
Have-nots always argue amongst themselves over the best method of stealing what little they have from each other; however, in the end haves take all of it.
Still
death comes calling to take it all
not one atom of matter remains
not one glimmer of thought remains
not one passing spirit wind remains
not even remains remains
and our little speck of dust in the middle of nowhere
keeps hurtling along to the nowhere
where not even s he remain s till

Don't cry for me, Argentina, seeing me so grave
This little space was hollow and thundered
By Lucid eccentric, ice broken ground
Father, Father, are you ‽

Michael struggled, cried, moaned
Peter sank deep the golden lance ...
Only One, We're an other alone,
None dare cast the true chance ▽

Cuckoo!
Up and woody, I know where
Two ones fall.
Yet I and him are all
His phantasy.
Cuckoo!

I sing merry as can be
I who dare,
Great and careless love, I laugh at care,
And since
You're gone
Cuckoo!
In woods grow weary,
In scented woods, drowsy, call
Cuckoo!

The Even Load
I will not try broad reach again,
I will not sale before the wind,
No more my place bereft of men
Earda's farm wi' men thinned
Butt I will sit beside the fire,
And there, to fill my heart's desire,
Put my hand between my thighs,
The last of all our youless he's
Quiet evening kept his tryst:
Beneath an open sky we rode,
And passed into a cloudy mist
Along the perfect even load.
The salt even load that needs
Met O's gush to near the sound
Of waters mingling in the Reids,
And binds my heart to share his ground.
A lovely river, all alone,
He lingers in the hills and holes
A hundred little scents of tone,
Are gotten in the best end roles.

Baba Zumbi
I never liked hip-hop.
Of all the hip-hop I've previously heard
since some time in the '70s
there were two songs I liked
and I've forgotten both of them.
Hip-hop, basically dance music, I always hated disco.
Current commercial hip-hop is basically misogynistic шitty disco with foul language and buggery thuggery attitude.
So, someone had to come along an' prove me completely wrong.
Here he is: Baba Zumbi & here Zion I Crew
No, I'm not saying he's sell-out commercial, I'm saying he's made music that's witty not шitty and I enjoy listening to.
Three of the first songs of his I've listened to gave me the spine-tingling-emotion thrill thing and off hand I can't think of any current musician that's done that.

AMoral Alphabet (excerpt)
D: The Dashing Danny Boy he
Will he do his best for D.
The early bird observed with awe
His back, glistening sweat he saw.
His look was gay, his voice was strong;
His tail was neither short nor long;
His trunk most elongated nose,
Was large enough I would suppose;
His teeth, as O. the Wilde allows
With tongue he covers like a cow's
He often liked and swished to pass
Long peaceful nights smoking' the Grass,
A splash of brute, mad love preferred
To pop in baths without a bird
His creature slimier than the snail
You see at once it will not fail
To joy gladly when he slid
And tumbled (as he nightly did).
Then leave off with the morning light
Returning home; served up just right.
MORAL
If you were born to walk the streets
Remain there; fool around.
E stands for Ego
Will he do his best for D.
The early bird observed with awe
His back, glistening sweat he saw.
His look was gay, his voice was strong;
His tail was neither short nor long;
His trunk most elongated nose,
Was large enough I would suppose;
His teeth, as O. the Wilde allows
With tongue he covers like a cow's
He often liked and swished to pass
Long peaceful nights smoking' the Grass,
A splash of brute, mad love preferred
To pop in baths without a bird
His creature slimier than the snail
You see at once it will not fail
To joy gladly when he slid
And tumbled (as he nightly did).
Then leave off with the morning light
Returning home; served up just right.
MORAL
If you were born to walk the streets
Remain there; fool around.

Algernon
Young Algernon, the Proctor's son,
was playing with his loaded gun
pointed towards space
aimed violently and
blasted there!
His friend who was studying near,
the loud exaltation close heard
and recommended Algernon
be playing with his loaded gun.

and recommended Algernon

A Trinity
Of three in One and One in three
My open mind was doubting thee
Till Bobby, George, and Kenny met
And all were one in body sweat

And all were one in body sweat

For sake 'n' forking from the old

complaining all the time
unlike so manly
people
we respect

To my partner’s queerying eye, I reply
To my partner’s queerying eye, I reply
since we met there’s been no one other than you
and old Writey.
When just a boy his acquaintance I made
his strength held my youth and he gladly gave
since then we’ve been inseparable.
Even you knew when we met long ago
he’d never able keep his hand off me
and time to time
you’ve made his acquaintance too.
Now is he old, gnarled, and worn from long use
I can not abandon him, nor would I
I hope he'll be with me rest of my life
I could not bare it any other way!

Blasted Can is Wend
That little cur
The hellish beast
With gaping one eye
Lies a heap in the east.
That cur slinks low
All the way to the west
All morals he's dropped
Afoot on his chest.
Richly human
Today I will sing,
Of the bastard cur
I'll not think a thing!
The hellish beast
With gaping one eye
Lies a heap in the east.
That cur slinks low
All the way to the west
All morals he's dropped
Afoot on his chest.
